For some reason, many customers seem to overlook Fujitsu Siemens when purchasing a laptop. Perhaps this is becuase their brand is not as widely known, however, these machines are usually well worth consideration.

Fujitsu Siemens deliver machines with very good build quality considering the price they charge.

In particular the keyboards seem to go on for ever. I actually have a Fujitsu Siemens laptop that is five years old and still going strong. Impressively, althoguh this mahcine has had a lot of use, and the keys are now quite are well polished, none of the characters have worn off, and the machine has never suffered a fault.

One issue that did arise with older machines is that the lids used to start to crack around the hinges, though that has probably been resolved now.

If you are looking for a workhorse to function as the main coputer / laptop in your house then Fujitsu Siemens laptops may be a good choice
